Calculator Panel and Specific Speed Chart

The Calculator Panel quickly shows the effect of any speed or RPM. The above Calculator Panel shows that 146 mph must be achieved by 8179 rpm in 3rd gear or 7089 rpm in 4th. There is only a 2 horsepower difference in the two alternatives, so the driver might choose 4th gear to avoid a shift without losing much horsepower. This is useful in considering what gear should be used at a particular point on the track.
The Panel also shows that 8100 rpm is equivalent to 83.41 mph in 1st, 111.22 in 2nd, 144.58 in 3rd or 166.83 in 4th. This can be useful in determining what gear a driver is using when you know his RPM.
Specific Speed Chart
The Specific Speed Chart shows the RPM required for certain speeds. If you know how fast the car is going at the end of straights and the middle of turns, then this will quickly show you the equivalent RPM at these points on the track.
