The Calculator programs make it very easy to answer “what
if” questions. For instance, if
you are allowed 358 cubic inches of engine displacement in your V-8 engine, you
can specify a 4” bore and see that you may use a 3.5611” stroke.
Or you may specify a 3.5” stroke and see that a 4.0348” bore is
allowed. You can even specify bore
and stroke and see how close you come to the 358 cubic inch limit.
